With the onset of winters, the gentle chill in the air turns into biting cold. And yes, cold weather is a perfect excuse to switch to a trendy winter wardrobe. Although everybody loves wrapping up in thick scarves, woolly hats and knitted socks, but I personally think nothing is better than an oversized, cosy jumper. Comfortable and cosy, winters is that time of the year where we are constantly on the lookout to keep ourselves warm. Be it sipping a cup of hot chocolate, or reading a book underneath your blankets, or resorting to room heaters to keep our living spaces warm, winter is all about embracing the bone-smashing chills.

With the advancement of technology today, heaters too have evolved manifold from the older times. Although heaters have been a part of every winter, but it is noteworthy to mention that the growth of heaters too have evolved from its traditional mechanism. From huddling around a bonfire to save ourselves from the chilly weather to oil filled heaters, technology has done its best to improvise our lives! Room heaters or space heaters are devices which are used to heat up a room or any other space which does not cover a very large area. Nowadays, heaters are infused with the best of technical expertise to provide an atmosphere of warmth to beat the winter chill.  One of the most common type of heater found in the market today is the convector heater. The working of a convector heater is like that of heating a pot of water on the stove. However, since air is a poor heat conductor, convection heating takes time to warm the air until a uniform temperature is reached. They basically warm up the air present in the room.

Convector heaters are found in a variety of five: oil-filled heater, ceramic heater, water heater, fan heater and furnace heater. This type of heater comes in with an inbuilt thermostat, that regulates the heat output. Such heaters are also available with an inbuilt timer. Thus, you can set and regulate the time required for your space to heat up! These heaters are also energy-efficient and will be generous for your pocket. There is another add on too. Nowadays, electric heaters are intricately designed to keep up with the aesthetics of your living rooms. Hence, you can now get rid of your traditional heaters and resort to a product like this to enhance your living standards.
